PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

A project management professional with over 34 years of experience. I have been a project manager, lead designer, and/or Construction Manager / Observer on several successful multi-million-dollar projects for various public agencies in New Mexico. Most recently I managed the Santa Fe County Road Maintenance and Engineering Services team(s). The work included supervision of up to 40 team members. The road maintenance activities required regular collaboration with tribal government leaders from the Pueblos of San Ildefonso, Pojoaque, Tesuque, Nambe, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

DESIGN MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE:
Managing and supervising project staff day-to-day activities associated with the development of construction plan documents that require multi-faceted knowledge of current design-related guidelines and policies including but not limited to AASHTO, Roadside Design Guide, MUTCD,
NMDOT Surveying Handbook, NMDOT Access Management Guidelines, Location Study Procedures, Hazardous Material Assessment Handbook, NMDOT Drainage Manuals, NMDOT Standard Specifications for Highway and Bridge Construction, Current NMDOT Design Directives, and NMDOT Standard Drawings.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT / OBSERVATION EXPERIENCE:
Administered construction projects from the Pre-Construction Conference to project close inclusive of the following responsibilities: Owner's
representative to the Contractor; oversee the progress of schedules; review

contractor submittals, host and document weekly progress meetings, oversee project inspectors, review materials test results, negotiate change orders, administer change directives, certify monthly pay requests by Contractor, and control project documentation.
